Hike #6

Well we made it! Just a few more steps to the very top but as you can see the view from here really makes the climb well worth it. Out in the distance is the northern part of Santa Fe. We got a little bit of snow the other day so I just might have to go on this hike again this weekend! Speaking of weekends have a good one everyone!

What a great place to sit in the sun and read. You might consider taking a copy of Mary Oliver with you when you go!

The view has made all the hard work of getting to the top absolutely worth the effort. I'm so glad I came along on the hike.

Great shot, Randy. You did all the hard work and we get to enjoy the spoils. Thank you. You have a wonderful weekend too!
PS You are so very right...Arsenic and Old Lace was a play not a novel, but I couldn't help doing it. :)

I see where you wrote that this was around a two hour hike. Do you know how many miles it is to the trail's end?

Excellent view. Also, I know I said it yesterday, but I love this progression. You really took us all on that hike with you.
