Hike #7

There was still snow on the top of the mountain that added beauty when looking in the opposite direction from yesterdays post. There was even more on the way down on the shaded part of the mountain. Happy Sunday everyone!

This is a nice photo, the mound of boulders and snow lead your eye up through the trees to the sky

I like the rocks popping up through the rocks. Glad you don't let the snow deter you. It looks beautiful.

Nothing like rocky mountains or the Rocky Mountains! Lovely photos, Randy!

Re your comment on Ocala: I can't afford Polos, either, but once in awhile I can buy them at Dillards on sale for about $20.

Have a great week!

In my part of the world (western France), when there are boulders like that, we say that giants played ball centuries ago. That's what this photo makes me think of!

There's a beautiful blue sky behind all those rocks and snow! Friends tell me that it was -15 below in SF not too many nights ago. True??

Oh, I did take a few shots at the rally and I have a few more on another roll of film which I haven't developed yet.

I hope your weekend was good!

5.5 miles. I could do that. Just don't know about the altitude and cold air though. Beautiful scenery for the reward of doing it.
