Hike #4

As the incline towards the top started the cloud timed their departure perfectly and lit this area perfectly. Almost to the top but there are more photos to come. Happy Wednesday.

la montée a du être assez rude vu le niveau de dénivellation

A very steep mountainside. Interesting how trees always grow skyward, no matter where they're planted, don't you think?

Such beautiful nature you showed us from your hikes!
You missed the opportunity to show us a fancy, artsy water fountain for theme day from Santa Fe yesterday...... well, you can always do that!

Wonderful light and shadows.

The hill looks slippery in the snow. Take care!

I love the light and shadows in this shot. They stand out particularly well against the snow. Another great scene.

I wonder how high the snow will be on the top:)

It looks cold! And the angle at which the trees have to grow is funny.
Sorry you missed Monday's post on the novel, but I'm doing another one on Thursday!

You must be a lot younger than I am...that's a steep incline and you're up high...breathing hard? I'd have to sit every few minutes...so pretty, though.

I asked about the Sangre de Cristo's because our daughter faces the range in southwestern Colorado...I've got hundreds of photos of them. It's a magnificent range.

Great lighting on this one! A simple scene, but captured nicely.

Beautiful picture, but snow....yikes!

It's very cool to be taken along on a winter hike like this. Most often, hike shots are in warmer weather so it's nice to see a different season. Nothing like solitude and fresh air!
I really like your pictures, looking forward to more:-)
