The Dixon area has a few wineries, La Chiripada happens to be one of my favorites and I make it a point to visit every year. This year I came home with a new white wine, Embudo Blanco. It is an apple wine that is tart with a hint of sweetness made from locally grown apples.

Hello Randy.
Brazil produces a good wine in the south. I guess the wine to which you refer should be excellent.
I liked the picture.
Good weekend.
For one that lives in Tuscany I am not a great wine drinker, but I'd like a taste of this one!
Looks such a pretty building. I didn't know you could make wine out of apples, I thought it was only cider. I wonder what the difference in process is?
WOW! I didn't know there were New Mexican wines.
I enjoy PNW wines, so I'd love to taste these.
Hmmm. Sweet apple wine sounds yummy!!
I think fruit wines are delicious.
Oh, yum! That sounds good!
Very interesting place to photograph.
I hope you enjoy your wine. ;-)
I can think of all kinds of cooking opportunities for a wine like that.
I would like to try that wine, I haven't tried one like that. I used to strongly dislike wine and now I find myself drinking it now and then.
Have a good weekend.
Looks like a cool place!
My grandfather loves to make his own wine and I think he tried making apple wine one year.
Hope it tastes well!
I think this wine would be good with my pancakes ?? or not ??
bisous et bon dimanche to you
Someone gave me a bottle of apple wine once - it was wonderful. Hope that you enjoy yours!

Apple wine? I want to try it. Thanks.
