Another type of ride. Might be a good part time job with the bonus of a work out.

Hey You, Yeah You, Up Here!
While walking to the railyard one day I spotted this little guy up on roof. Not sure how he got there but he seemed to be enjoying the view.

Tiny Reflection
You don't really have to look very hard to see it but it's there.
This little guy is worried you won't see it. Have a good Friday.

Plaza Car Show
Friday before the movie in the Railyard I made a quick trip to the plaza for a classic car show.
There were many wonderful cars that I would have loved to own, like this orange Corvette.

Where's the Movie
This little guy and his family came out to see the movie on Friday.
Looks like he saw the crowd and wondered if they would get a spot on the lawn.

Grease is the Word.
Friday nights we have movies at the Railyard Park near my house. This Friday's movie was "Grease."
It also happened to be a sing alone, no I didn't sing and yes I know all the words I just didn't want to scare people. Coming soon, Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Happy Father's Day
I lost my father in 2001 but everytime I see old trucks and cars I think of him because he loved to work on vehicles. There were many times that I was by his side while he disassembled and engine and put it back together again. It was not my idea of how to spend a summer but I am so grateful for the memories. Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there!

Art and More Art
Yesterday and today is all about art in Santa Fe. There was a wonderful new media festival (Currents) on the Railyard. In town it was the start of the ARTFeast which will continue on Canyon Road today.
I attended Currents last night but will be skipping ARTfeast so that I can go to an art show on the plaza. Over 200 artists at this one so I will get an early start.

Black Mesa II
One cross that sits next to the drive way to the church. The church sits on pueblo land so there is no access to anyone except members from the pueblo.

Black Mesa
I love to travel a different way home from Abiquiu in the afternoon just so that I can drive by Black Mesa. The light and the clouds were perfect for this visit. It was the perfect end to my day.

Plaza Blanca IX
At the end before you really have no choice but to climb to the top. I took a few step up when I heard these two struggling just to climb down. With the rain coming I figured it better wait.

Theme Day: Stylish
Another theme day on City Daily Photo has arrived, is this year going by fast or what.
I digress, this month's theme is "Stylish." In Santa Fe the stylish thing to do recently is to visit the new Violet Crown theater. It is actually a theater, restuarant and bar all in one building. The VC offer larger seating, with tray tables so that you can take your dinner/drinks into the movie with you. You can also reserve your seats, no more rushing to get your favorite seat!
