April already! Theme day has come again on CDP. This month's theme is My Camera-Shy Self Portrait. Most people who know me here at home know I hate having my photo taken so this was a tough one for me.
Most know that if you see me around town I am usually sporting my favorite Converse All-Stars.
My friends also know that I love local art so here I am standing on my favorite hand weaved rug from a local northern New Mexico weaver. It's colorful and so comfortable to stand on.

Cooooooool! I might have to bring my Converse, I hadn't planned to though!
I like your self portrait.
Mee too !
Very symbolic of you and your Southwest life. Your sneakers are a lot cleaner than mine!!
Great variation on the theme.

I've got an old pair of red ones. LOVE the Converse feel. Strange?
Good one Randy. Those are some great look shoes on that colorful rug!
that's great, randy. you're a 'down-to-earth' fellow. :)
Nice choice, I have to do something like this...
Well, your heart and your feet are certainly in the right place! :)
Very cool! I like it.
Nice one Randy.. I'm a big fan of Converse also :) The rug is totally fabbo!
That fits my mental image of you Randy! ;-))
Good snickers jjj
Great weekend
Wow, this is just great, the composition and colours!
Happy Easter!
Greetings from

The rug really stands out. It occurs to me that it's been years since I've worn running shoes- I go for hiking boots and dress shoes.
Good take on the day!
A clever twist or ... cross-over!
nice interpretation of the theme ... you shared something about yourself and Santa Fe.
This is YOU, and it is the way I imagine you.
Randy, hands down, the most brilliant and creative Theme Day post! Wow! And thanks so much for your comments on mine. I'm right at 5'4" and I wish that I had kilt, all I've got on is an ankle length skirt.
Nice, Randy. I do think of you in sneakers and jeans!
Cool! Love the rug... and Converse All Stars too (actually wearing some now). :-)
Ha ha, nicely done!
The self portrait criteria probably never specified what part of self to portrait...
Good one, Randy! It's perfect - just your style!
