Happy Trails

It's the end of another long week thank goodness. This mural is at the entrance of "Double Take," one of my favorite stores in town. If your shopping for some used cowboy boots,Native American jewelry, and even some Southwest furnishings this is the place to go. I hope you all have a happy Friday.

Roy Rogers was a favorite of mine when younger. Dale was an acquaintance of my mother and in fact, Dale and I corresponded for awhile about 20 years ago as she was planning to use one of my songs on her show. Then she became ill and that was the end of that.

I think I would like this store a lot.

I was a faithful fan of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Loved listening to them sing that song.

That looks like Roy and Dale, two heroes from my childhood. And I believe Roy Rogers wa the singer of "Happy Trails." But where is Trigger?
