Pumpkin Time

The Farmer's Market was full of wonderful Fruits and Veggie's yesterday. I came home with some wonderful makings for soup. I wish I had picked up one of these little beauties but it just slipped my mind. What do you like to make with pumpkin, soup, bread, pie?

I don't like to make anything with pumpkin. I just like to taste what others make!

Photographing food is really fun - especially if you have a blue bench to set them all on! Cool!

I saw several pumpkins yesterday too. The first of the season.

I like all three! But usually I end up making pumpkin soup as my husband isn't crazy about the sweet stuff. :)

The only part I eat of a pumpkin are the salted toasted seeds, whih we call 'seme'!

We are going to see a lot of pumpkins from now on, aren't we? I am not a fan of pumpkins for anything, but everyone else in my family love them.

I like to go to a local restaurant and order pumpkin bread. Otherwise, I have little to do with pumpkins, except for my pumpkin head neighbors...but that's another Halloween story. Arghhhhh!

Oh, lovely pumpkins, it's really autumn isn't it? I fear I've no talent for cooking with, though I do love eating pumpkin pie and bread :)

Altho I like to cook, I have never made anything with a pumpkin other than a jack-o'-lantern face. Perhaps this is the year to try.

Pie, kept cold in the fridge and then covered with whipped cream.
