Pumpkin Time

The Farmer's Market was full of wonderful Fruits and Veggie's yesterday. I came home with some wonderful makings for soup. I wish I had picked up one of these little beauties but it just slipped my mind. What do you like to make with pumpkin, soup, bread, pie?

Quilted Curtain

I wasn't too sure what was going on at this booth at the AHA Festival but I loved this beautiful quilt that they used for a curtain. I admire anyone who can create such beautiful works of art.

And They Danced

One could not help but smile watching this guy dance. Talk about giving it your all. If only more people were like this during their work day. Give it all you have this Friday and enjoy your day!

This is Johnny Bell one of the many music artist at the AHA Festival. I really enjoyed listening to him play his interest mix of music. It was the kind of music that grabs your attention and you can help but stay and listen.

Not only could you see some wonderful art and hear good music but you could have your Tarot Cards read. I wonder if this woman's future is in hats. How about you, have you every had your cards or palm read? Oh and yes I have, and here I am in Santa Fe.

The two weekends ago I attended the After Hours Alliance Festival on the Railyard. There was some great art, music and food. Sunflower Sunday

Believe it or not this photo is straight out my camera. Look at that sky. When I saw these flowers it reminded me of a quote that I posted at work this week. It simply said "Choose your attitude." I hope you all have a peaceful and fun Sunday!

Dream Car

Some people dream of a Cadillac, BMW or Mercedes Benz, my dream are a bit smaller. I just love these little Mini Cooper convertibles. There is even a little Turquoise one that cruises around town. One of these days.

Rust and Reflection

I caught this shot in the Railyard. There was supposed to be a wine establishment moving into this spot but it never came to pass. Wishing you all a fast Friday and a super slow weekend (wishful thinking).

Relaxing

The temperatures are cooling off but you can still find people out enjoying the plaza and grabbing lunch at the Fajita lunch cart (next to the rainbow umbrella).

No Invitation

I was walking past one of my favorite Italian restaurants the other day and I came across this cute little fella. His owners were inside the restaurant having lunch sitting by the window so they could watch him. I think he was too mad to look at them while they ate.

"Don't Use The Kitchen Towels!"

As soon as I saw these I could hear my mom yelling this to us as we would come in from outside with either mud, oil or who knows what on our hands. These cute little kitchen towels can be found inside the Farmer's Market building.

Bringing home flowers

The Farmer's Market was full of such wonderful things this weekend, sweet fruits, savory breads and vegetables and a large variety of flowers. I caught this woman carrying home some flowers. Shortly have this shot she purchased to ristras of the chile you see hanging in front of her. Saturday at the market, life is always good.

Double Shot

It's fun to watch tourist with cameras around town. I caught these two on my way back to the office. It's fun to see what they are shooting, sometimes they see things that I might have missed. Happy Sunday everyone!

Do Not Enter

If you stand across the street from this window for awhile you can catch some nice reflections. I was on my lunch hour and only had a few moments to spend but I think I caught a decent reflection.

Let's hear it for the Rain!

Yesterday we woke up to rain, in fact it had rain most of the evening. Before I went in to the office I grabbed a few quick shots. We get pretty excited when we get rain around here. Have a happy Friday everyone and a great weekend doing what you love.

I caught these two while they were just hanging out watching people on the plaza. It's almost Friday, hanging in there.

Strolling

I love walking downtown during my lunch hour. It's also nice to see others strolling along the long portals going from shop to shop. Every now and then you will also come across someone panhandling.

El Bosque Farms Garlic

I really like the way Bosque Garlic Farms displays their harvest. Probably makes one want to go home and cook. Not me though I burn water.

Talk about starting the day on a good note. This guy probably did just that for his sweetheart. I hope you all have a great start to your week.

SF Indian Market Finale

Well it's time to end another Indian Market series. And what better way than to just sit back and watch the rest of it just go by. Many of the artist come with their families in tow and instead of sitting behind the booth most will do as this young man did and just hang out on the sidelines. Have a great Sunday everyone.

This artist decided to work on a large painting during the market. This canvas is draped over one of the outside walls of the New Mexico Museum of art. He drew crowds off an on during the day. Have a great Friday everyone and I hope you enjoy your weekend.

No worries, these two were not laughing at the woman with the purse. I was watching these two as they were posing for some self portraits. After viewing the last shot they started laughed hysterically at the shot. Aren't friends wonderful?

When it comes to your favorite jewelry or style, is there such a thing as too much? This guy obviously love his Turquoise. I don't know that I would want to walk around with that much additional weight.
