Theme Day: My Favorite Part Of Town.

It's the first of the month and another Theme Day has come to City Daily Photo. Today's theme is My Favorite Part of Town. When I first came to Santa Fe the first place I visited was Canyon Road. I love all the old houses and all of the art galleries that line this historic road. Maybe from all my post you've already gathered that. But I had to share it again, it is one of the loves of my life.

Please take sometime to visit all the wonderful photographers and their favorite part of their cities. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

Excellent choice, Randy! I don't think that you could top Canyon Road for best choice of favorite spot. Lots to choose from while walking through that neighborhood. Have a good month!!

I like what Sharon said. She sums it up nicely. This seems to be the part of town that has stolen your heart...understandably.

Great shot, Randy.... love the footprints in the bottom of the frame. You're reminding me it's time to get out & walk the town on my next day off. Sometimes I get caught up in work/school/grocery store & forget all the wonderful places to get out & walk... and window shop. :)

I would have guessed this one! And can't blame you for loving this area of town.

I always like seeing the bright pops of color mixed in with the earth tones of your area.

I agree, Randy. Canyon Road is a pretty special place. I usually stay near the plaza but get to Canyon Road on the second day.

Very unique to Santa Fe. Must be a fun place to explore. I like going back to familiar haunts again and again, because there is usually something new, or an angle I hadn't seen before.

Nice. Think I could love it there too.
Like the footprint in the snow:)

It is beautiful and again, wonderful contrast with the snow.
Do you still have your house in Bisbee? You live/lived in two great artists communities!

The snow makes it extra special.
