The Spanish Table

Another place I like to visit is the Spanish Table. They have wonderful imports from dinnerware to foods and music. And it's within walking distance to my house.

It must be a chain because we have one in Berkeley. Kitchen supply shops are pretty popular here.

A nice contrast between the sober (but very nice) sign and the gaudy colors of the vases.

The pottery is great in that little shop. I bought a good Tagine cookbook there during my last visit. Great photo, Randy, esp. with the sushine!

All your places have inspired a need to visit Santa Fe and Taos.

I have driven by there a bunch, but have never stopped in. Hope your week is off to a good start! It's my "weekend," so I'm happy to have some time off work!

Love the sign, beautiful pottery, and you also put a "piece" of that splendid blue sky on this photo!
You're improving your photos day after day! ;-)

I love the brightly colored, hand made Mediterranean pottery. It looks good in this window, Randy.

Ich mag solche kleinen Läden wo man von jedem etwas bekommt. Grüße

This really does look like Spanish and Portuguese, lots of it around! The composition of your shot is fantastic. Love the adobe, the blue sky and the white sign with those splashes of colour.
There, I'm done!

Would love to see any of the pieces you've purchased in here. Such beautiful colors.
PS: Re: geraniums being one of your favorites. As I hobbled around this morning watering the outside plants, I counted 26 blooms on my geranium plant. :)

Nice inviting shop window! Great shot. You do have to watch for lead content in some of that Mediterranean pottery though.

Sounds like my kind of store.
