Nice angle in this shot. We saw some missions like this in San Antonio last year. They were very poignant. Thx for your photo.

Superb angle. You will need to visit Assisi in Italy some day.

Lovely. I know a lot of folks gravitate to St. Francis of Assisi just because of his love of birds and animals... :)

What an interesting and different way to photograph this church! Love your unusual composition of a church that has captivated so many painters and photographers, led by your very own Georgia O'Keeffe! I photographed it (of course) and an artist friend of mine did a watercolour of it. Hangs above our bed. Thanks for this unusual rendition, randy!

I really miss the Missions, Randy. We had to build a California Mission when I was in grade school and that is possibly one of my most pleasant memories. I used to LOVE visiting them... they are so serene and inviting.

... mit der Statue im Vordergrund und dem blauen Himmel als Hintergrund wirkt die Kirche sehr schön, eine gut gewählte Perspektive.
