Jumping On My Horse!

I'm still out here in the country just north of Taos. While taking a walk to enjoy the peace and quite I came across this noble steed waiting for a cowboy to ride off into the sunset with. He looked a little to wild for me.

Hahaha....were you scared you'd get bucked off?
You'd be fine. Really. {From past experience:(...just remember to roll when you land;))

Ha ha. Good thing you escaped with your life!

He does look a little wild! Good idea not to attempt to tame him.

How fortunate you are to be living in such a beautiful area in a beautiful state. When Don and I lived in Arizona we always talked about traveling north from I-10 and seeing the interior of NM...sadly we never got there!

Randy, looks like a fine pony to ride into your next 50 years. Thanks for stopping by Portland Oregon Daily Photo.

In this horse I would not be afraid of falling.

Wow. Would hate for you to get thrown off that thing. It's a long way to the ground. :-)

Very cute...but I think you could probably tame this equine critter if you were kind and gentle and had some pieces of apple in your pocket.

Of course, if it tried to buck you off you might end up with slivers in your you-know-what! :-)

He does have a ferocious look about him. Love this capture!

North of Taos is my favorite part of New Mexico.

stopped by after you left a comment on a blog about being near Taos. Spent one day in Taos 5 years ago and its on my list of places to return to. :)

Come on, he's just standing there quietly, minding his own business, enjoying some fresh air:)

He looks a little lonely...you could have just hopped right on!

Maybe when you were five, Randy, not now that you are Five-Oh. You're not THAT much of a kid.

Oh yes, he looks wild to the core. But still very cute!

Yeah, I'd stay away from that one, no telling what could happen. :)

Reminded me of Toy Story 3, cool scene. Looks like a handprint on the wall in the background.

Saddle up! Go for a ride.
I'm catching up after being gone to the lake for four days.
