Entrance

Here is another wall that is around the corner from where I live. I love the bush that is growing next to it. Someone told me they are lilacs, all I know is that they are all over town right now.

Randy, someone told you that "they are lilacs?!" You definitely are not from the Midwest or you would be able to identify them immediately. Our back yard right now is full of them; they flourish beautifully and smell divine. Love the way they curve over the adobe wall. Enjoy them because they don't last long!

Oh how I love lilacs and as you know, they don't grow in the desert. My sister has a lilac bush in Prescott that does pretty well. Where I grew up in Illinois, we had a huge lilac bush in our yard. They are such beautiful, fragrant flowers. This bush enhances this southwestern scene.

These adobe walls are so compelling. Lucky folks who live behinds them. If there's perfume in the air, then they indeed are lilacs.

This is a lovely photo. I'm so glad you caught it in the shade.

I can just smell those lilacs!

Beautiful lilacs! I just got home from a week in Santa Fe. Enjoyed some good food, a little shopping, and went to the farmers market. Wish I were there again.
