Lizard Pot

This Micaceous lizard pot is the product of artist Bea Duran. I love the lizard on the rim of the pot. This type of clay is great for cookware. We have one and once you make beans in one you'll never go back to regular cook wear again.

This is quite beautiful. I own two pots very different from this one, but both have lizards on them. I love the depiction of lizards on pottery.

Why? What makes the beans so much more delectable?

Meri, maybe the clay enhances the taste of the earth both from the clay and the beans themselves.
