Libros and Rubber Stamps

This window display in the downtown area is for Alla an all Spanish bookstore and Guadalupe's Rubber stamp store. Its fun to browse in both of these stores.

Round Up The Horses

I love horses. There is something about the strength of the horse that draws me in. There is also something about these different horses in front of Canyon Road Fine Art that conveys their strength.

This post is in honor of my partner Todd's birthday. This Peace mural is on one of the buildings where he works as the Music Coordinator for the Santa Fe school district. There is another mural on the other building in this complex which I will post for tomorrows picture. Happy Birthday TLH!

You going to want to click on this photo. I came across these two sculptures at a gallery on Canyon road. I would love to have one in my courtyard.

Yoberri

Yoberri is my favorite place to get frozen yogurt here in Santa Fe. We probably make several trips a month, even in the cold weather. My favorite is the Classic, its a plain yogurt with just the right amount of tartness to it. Since today is my birthday I think I will just have to treat myself to some. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Feeling Blue

You can't feel that way with this shade of Blue. I also love the old Spanish benches in the front of this gallery.

Morning Surprise

Yesterday we woke up to a cold snowy surprise. It snowed most of the morning but shortly after noon all of the snow was gone. It wasn't even in the forecast.

I love to walk along the river here in Santa Fe. It is especially beautiful in the Spring or shortly after a rain. Click on the photo for a better look. This shot was taking along Alameda road which is next to Canyon road and all of its art galleries.

Shadow

Just as I turned from taking the shot of the Georgia O'Keeffe poster I noticed this trees shadow on the museum wall. Funny how if your eyes aren't open you can miss some pretty wonderful things.

Georgia On My Mind

I love this photo of Georgia O'Keeffe that was hanging outside of her museum. There is a new showing of her work now but I loved this photo. I was a great exhibit too. She is one of many reasons why I moved here. I was intriqued by New Mexico after reading her biography.

March Theme Day: Glass

As always its our monthly theme day. March's theme day is Glass. These glass sculptures are on Canyon road at the Coady Contemporary gallery. I love the different colors and would be great sitting out in a sunny garden.
