This is one of my favorite artist. Leopoldo Garica lives in the village of Abiquiu. He carves his work out of natural wood found in the area and uses natural dyes. Check out more about him at the following website.

There were several Garcias at the Spanish Market. I wonder if he is the same one who carved some of the outstanding furniture we saw there?
