Theme Day: Best Photo of 2008

As always on the first day of the month it's time for Theme Day photo. This months theme is the Best Photo of 2008. I don't think I really have a best for the year but I do have my favorites and this photo is my first choice. These Buffalo Dancers from Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo were waiting for their final performance at St. Francis cathedral for the Santa Fe Fiestas.

Thanks for stopping by. I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Randy, Thanks for featuring this particular shot. I think it speaks volumes, and is so alive with humor (the dancer trying to peer out from under the buffalo horns) and joyfulness. Happiness to you in this New Year, and continued fun sharing your images of Santa Fe with us!
