This gate is by the same artist who painted the shed from yesterday. I think every home should have one.

This is a storage unit that was behind an artist home in Galisteo.

I love old things. I came across these sitting in a Nicho in this fence at a home in Galisteo.

Looking In

When you look in this window you can see some Dia De Los Muertos figurines sitting in the window. I like the paint on the glass too.

Missing a Horse

Here is the cart, all that was missing was the horse.

Reuse Recycle

Click on this one for a better look. This weekend was the Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival. Believe it or not I forgot my camera at home so my partner had to take this shot for me. If your looking for a water fountain that would serve as a great conversation piece this would be it. There was alot of great art made from all kinds of stuff.

White Cross Blue Sky

This cross sits on top of the church in Galisteo. I shot it during the studio tour. I love our blue skies.

A very small Church

A Basket for your Veggies

These baskets are sold at the farmers market. The best part about them is that they are big and you can fill them with alot of great farm grown veggies.

This display for Goats Milk soap caught my eye the other day at the farmers market.

Riding the Historic Trail

I'll bet this bike was just waiting for its owner to take it for a ride along the Historic Route 66 trail.

Yippee Yi Yo

This is one of my favorite places to shop in the downtown area. They have Western type touristy stuff. If your ever in the area you have to stop by this store.

There is always good music at the weekend farmers market. Take a look at this pair of colorful pants. They are made from neckties.

Even this guy. Mr. Pumpkinhead as I will call him was walking around the farmers market. Hopefully he will get out to vote today.

This little guy was busy selling Honey at the farmers market. This is some of the best tasting I've had recently.

Theme Day: Books

It's the first of the month, that means Theme Day and this months theme is Books. I shot this at Garcia Street Books. It is a great independent books store here in Santa Fe. Not too far from my home. The day I got this shot it just so happens that a book on Santa Fe was sitting on the "Sale" table in front of the store.
