Well I am back and I would first like to say Thank You to all of you who commented on my posts for the days that I was gone. I just made me smile to see all of those comments, you are the best! This shot is from my trip to Phoenix, I was headed to one of my favorite spots for a quick bite and thought I would snap a photo while traveling up Central Avenue. I hope you all had or are having a great weekend and thank you again.
Welcome back, Randy! Show us more of Phoenix!

A funny picture to cheer us up on Monday morning!
ReplyDeleteI like your little travel buddy Randy!!
ReplyDeleteLooks warm and sunny there. Nice...
ReplyDeleteThis one's kind of funny.
ReplyDeleteMacayo's on Central - a Phoenix landmark! Glad you had a good time. And that drive wasn't so bad really now, was it?
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home safely! (my family got some serious winds thru flagstaff to winslow.) I love your sock monkey! I have several little buddies that travel w/ me. Currently it's a bendable alien from Roswell, LOL. Enjoy your monday off!
ReplyDeleteRandy, Receiving a thank you from someone who always comments on my post is so pleasantly received but the gratitude goes back to you for always remembering me during my mediocre photo posts and my occasional great and proud days of posting. You really lead the CDP with your comments.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, but the critter looks lost...like he's from another climate!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good trip and are home safely!
Oh, yummy. Macayo's. Did you know you had a sock monkey in your car? :-)You have to watch them closely. If they don't get enough attention they go ape.
ReplyDeleteYou were in the neighborhood! I had lunch there just yesterday after my return from the botanical garden! You weren't there at the same time were you?
ReplyDeleteYou must be well climatized to the New Mexico high country. It was down right cool here yesterday!
Welcome back! This little friend is so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Léia
As you know from seeing some posts in my blog, I like pictures taken while on the move in the car. Its a thrill. So naturally I find this one really neat. Now aren't you glad Southwest screwed up?
ReplyDeleteWho's your friend and travelling companion??
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Randy! I am looking forward to see your new photos from Phoenix.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of Central Avenue. Years ago (while I was still in high school) a young man took me to this Macayo's (as it was the only one then) on a date. We had to drive there all the way from Buckeye!
ReplyDeleteLove the sock monkey. Looks like a good traveling companion. Sharon's right though...it was nice a cool here. :)
So glad that you are back and that you were safe even though you were shooting while driving - eek! Glad that you had cute Mr. Sock Monkey to travel with you... I have a friend that travels always with me.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie

ReplyDeleteI like the looks of this grasshopper better than the ones that have been chewing on my garden lately.
ReplyDeleteVery cool composition. So much colour!
ReplyDeleteLove Sock Monkey Randy. Hope you and he had a great time in Phoenix. I occasionally have a little travel companion named Boo Boo Bunny. I will have to put him in some of my future shots.
