I can see why a scooter in Santa Fe would be handy but, I'd be a bit timid on one on those narrow streets. Perhaps that color is to make sure it's seen.
We are getting more and more bike lanes here but on regular roads I find it really spooky. And a scooter feels the same to me. Somehow when I was in Paris and there were so many scooters and the traffic was so congested and so the speeds were slow, it didn't look so scary.
Sadly scooters aren't rare, her but they usually come in dark colors. This one is very nice!
ReplyDeleteYou're right.
ReplyDeleteScooters/bikes are a dangerous route
without "safe lanes."
(Love the orange color, though.)
Hey, even walking has its issues.
ReplyDeleteI really like the orange! I bet it's a lot safer to ride n orange scooter than a blue one. :)

ReplyDeletecute, but i'd not want to ride one in traffic either. :)
ReplyDeleteI have one and I truly enjoy riding it in DC.
ReplyDeleteThey're quite rare here.
ReplyDeleteThey are popular where I live; a nice means of transportation leaving very little impact.

ReplyDeleteI do want that!
ReplyDeletea pretty cool scooter
ReplyDeleteI wonder why is it that it's not safe to be bicycling in your city, I know KL is a dangerous place to be on two wheels.
ReplyDeleteBike lanes are wonderful. Perfect for SF since you could bike almost throughout the entire year. Snappy little scooter.
