Agave

I love Agave plants. I prefer to shoot them in Black and White because it makes the points and thorns really pop. Wishing you all a happy Friday!

Tri-Colored Ride

If you have a black bike how do you give it some color. Just add some copper and gold accents.

Marital Spat

The other morning these two started going at it as soon as the sun came up. As I was leaving for work she was still squawk at him. Guess someone was out late the night before.

Winter Trees

I took this while walking down Palace Steet. I came home sick yesterday and still feeling a bit under the weather. I'll be back when I'm feeling better.

That Monday Commute

If it's bad you might look like this guy by the time you get to work. My commute is short but I have arrived to work looking like this due to some crappy drivers who insist on driving and talking on their photo or putting on makeup on their commute. Hope yours is a smooth one today. Oh and little monster was sitting on the bumper of a delivery truck.

I found this sculpture on my favorite street, Canyon Road at MaLarry Fine Art. This beautiful sculpture is by Tim Nicola. To see more of his work click here.

Leafy Bench

This bench is not in a place where it is seen by many people. This one sits in the courtyard of the Palace of the Governers, so if your not an art lover you won't be able to see this one.

Adobe and Bare Tree.

This was shot in a small courtyard at the Santa Fe Convention Center. There is something beautiful about a bare tree. Too bad the garbage can was there.

Throw Away Art

Not sure what this was, maybe a backdrop. Then I thought what would a back drop be doing behind a sports bar. It's anyones guess.

One of my favorite gates in town. I love the color and how strong it appears.

Stop!

Could it be Vegetarian terrorism? Mad Cow's? This isn't the only one in town.

One of our popular restuarants for local and tourists.

Big News

We always know when something big is going on at the Federal courthouse across the street from work. We can always look out the window to see the news trucks that came up from Albuquerque. Some weeks are pretty uneventful. I hope your Monday is exciting.

Gallery Reflection

This is one of my favorite windows in Santa Fe. It's at the Windsor Betts Gallery right down the street from where I work. They always have the most beautiful paintings on display. I could not help but take this shot with the reflection of the sky. Wishing you all a wonderful Friday.

Locate #4

Someone must be getting ready to dig. I don't think it was the shadow of the man who photobombed my shot.

The Wooden Box

The Wooden Box seen here was leaning on the wall of the Peyton Wright Gallery. My guess is that there was a painting in the box. What do you think? I wonder if that was the name of the art piece. I might just have to go back to see if there is a painting with that name on it.

Turquuise For Tuesday

This old Turquosie wooden fence sits on one side of an art gallery. The other sides have wrought iron fence. I think the wooden fence has more character.

And The Work Continues.

This was the old hospital here in the downtown area. It is now being converted in a hotel. So I ask you, do you think the place will be haunted from the people who have passed away when it was a hospital? I guess what future guest won't know won't bug them.

Vintage Ride

I found this selection of bikes sitting outside of Mellow Velo's bike shop. They are an independent bicycle shop in the heart of Santa Fe. Get a load of that coconut cup holder on the handle bars.

One The Corner Of

On the corner of Marcy and Paseo De Peralta you will find this small but sweet little city park. In the Spring it is the perfect getaway from the office. There is also a sculpture of a painter.

The Santa Fe New Mexican

This is the main entrance to the Santa Fe New Mexican, our local newspaper. Not one of my favorite reads but to each his own. Have a great Friday everyone!

Hope for a New Year

I found this sculpture while out and about on an afternoon walk. I think it would be fitting for the first few days of the year.
