February Morning Surprise

I should have know it was snowing when I could not hear the traffic in the middle of the night. It was a beautiful surprise when I woke up.

  1. A nice surprise and not too deep. You have had way more snow than us.

  2. Nothing like freshly-fallen snow, especially if you don't have to drive in it. Hope you don't slip-slide around too much!

  7. It really is beautiful. All I could think of when I saw this is poor Kate. She was trying to escape the snow and ice.

  11. New snow has such a fresh clean look to it. Seems like a lot of the country has been getting these surprises this year.

  12. It is beautiful but maybe not what Kate was hoping for when she arrives. I always love that quiet that new snow brings. This missed us completely.

It's official, we've had the warmest January since 1900 here. Yuck. And one gale force storm after another is battering the coast... :-(
