The Wooden Box seen here was leaning on the wall of the Peyton Wright Gallery. My guess is that there was a painting in the box. What do you think? I wonder if that was the name of the art piece. I might just have to go back to see if there is a painting with that name on it.

Most definitely a large painting.
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing. I also wonder what's inside.
ReplyDeleteWell, now you've got me curious!
ReplyDeleteYou might go back and they will just have the box hanging on the wall in the gallery. Put 3K on it and someone will see the symbolic meaning of it to modern life and buy it.
ReplyDeleteMade me laugh. Really cool.
ReplyDeleteNow I am highly curious about what's in the box...
ReplyDeleteI also think there was a painting in that box!
ReplyDeleteLéia

ReplyDeleteIt's stating the obvious!
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing! I'd love to know the story too. Hope your 2014 is off to good start!
ReplyDeletei think the art IS the box. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to know what was in the box!
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be a painting from another gallery named The Wooden Box.
ReplyDeleteThese days, I wouldn't be surprised if that wooden box wasn't, in fact, the piece of "art." :)
ReplyDeleteThat is it. That's the art piece.
ReplyDeleteCould have a bike inside?, jj
ReplyDeleteHappy 2014
I think this is the real artwork!
ReplyDeleteI think you may be right.
ReplyDeleteAt least the description fits! Looks like a painting box to me. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's the name of the company that makes the boxes?
ReplyDeleteWasn't it the Georgia O'K that you bought at auction? :-)
ReplyDeleteI like Sunnybrook Farm's idea, Randy! Maybe some kind of 3-D wall piece inside/
ReplyDeleteLet us know what you find.
ReplyDeleteI think the box is the work of art!
ReplyDeleteYup definitely a box...
ReplyDeleteOf course you know that you're followers are all going to want to know what was in it!
I think it is a piece of art itself, but someone confused it as a discarded case.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Enjoyed the comments as much as the shot Randy, these days anything is possible :)
