This was shot in a small courtyard at the Santa Fe Convention Center. There is something beautiful about a bare tree. Too bad the garbage can was there.
Wonderful balance to this photo. Bare bones of the tree against the adobe with the vertical line giving it height. Just the right amount of blue sky. Darn nice I'd say!
Darn garbage can. What garbage can? It's still a really nice shot. And the bare tree shall soon sprout new leaves!
Re your comment on Ocala: There is a sculpture by the theater...off to the left of the entrance (you can't see it 'cause of the trees)...it's one of our multi-colored horses. Very nice.
We have many hideaways like that hear in KL for smokers, but you can see many cigarette butts everywhere on the ground as evidence, but that's here that people are not too concious about public cleanliness.
Perhaps a hideaway for smokers? The can might be for butts. :) Have a great day Randy!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful composition and contrasts!
ReplyDeleteLéia
No! Just title it "Trash can".
ReplyDeleteGreat composition here Randy.
ReplyDeleteTrees don't have to hold leaves to hold beauty. Wonderful picture.
ReplyDeleteAdobe photographs beautifully! You could move the can; anything is permissible for art!!
ReplyDeleteAdobe is sooo attractive.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of an Ansel Adams shot.

ReplyDeleteA tree and its friend.
ReplyDeleteSuper composition Randy.. the rubbish bin is a necessary part of life oui!
ReplyDeleteI also like the bare trees ... Soon will be dressed in a new suit;)
ReplyDeleteStrange composition, I really like the stones of the pavement.
ReplyDeleteLove the minimalism!
ReplyDeleteLol, isn't it strange how bins interfere with serious photography?!
ReplyDeleteLove the slender tree.
Still, a great photo and the garbage can is just a sign of the times.
ReplyDeleteI love the graphic look of this one, Randy!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, garbage can and all :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a spare composition, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteI think the garbage can adds to the overall ambiance of this picture, nice composition on this shot!
ReplyDeleteA nice contrast with the blue sky!
ReplyDeleteVery artsy photo. I guess it's the composition. Good job.
ReplyDeleteIt's the garbage can with the bare tree that makes it interesting ... unique.
