I almost missed this one while walking by the other day because of the vines. I am not a fan of chain link fencing but I do like the horse head on the gate.
That is a nice touch for a fence. Chain link makes a good trellis for honeysuckle to grow on, all summer there will be a sweet fragrance in the air. (if that is honeysuckle growing there)
Nice capture!
ReplyDeleteInteresting mix of "old" and new. :)
ReplyDeleteGives the fence a bit of class! Happy First Day of Winter!!
ReplyDeleteLeftover from the Godfather?
ReplyDeleteThe subtle details you find on your walks, makes great photos to ponder!
ReplyDeleteThat is very unusual for a fence like that. It probably looks better with the vines climbing all around it.
ReplyDeleteGreat find Randy.
ReplyDeleteit really is grown over!

ReplyDeleteThat horse's head would catch your attention.
ReplyDeleteYou have your share of mysterious heads...
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't said anything about the chain link fencing, I wouldn't even have noticed. Love the horse and the colours.
ReplyDeleteReally unusual but rather striking, Randy!
ReplyDeleteNice find!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a chain link finished off in this way, usually they are just boring pipes and wire fencing.
