Mobile Art

I've shown the Axle Contemporary art van before but they've added some Wheatpaste work on the side of the mobile gallery. I saw this parked in front of the Farmer's market building. I am sure it will be there again today with a new exhibit. Bringing art to the masses.

Last night my daughter returned from the south of France and sat for half and hour telling us about the people wearing white lipstick sun-block on their faces. :D Teenage scandal!

Your van here had me giggling this morning at the irony.

Wonderful customized van!
Goes well with that Site Santa Fe sign
And even the dent at the front of the van looks good :)
Enjoy the weekend Randy :)

I was thinking recently 'not seen a photo from Randy for ages' ??? - just realised I'm *not* following you - no idea how
that happened, was sure I'd followed you when I left my first comment ... sorry Randy ... your photos are OUTSTANDING and I'm kinda devastated that you might've thought I didn't want to follow you ...
the irony that it was a photography blog it happened to (when there are so few)

A roving art gallery - how cool.

It's a unique crowd-stopper for the uninitiated, I'd imagine.

Fantastic idea! Love it! Thanks for sharing it with us. I have some public art at my blog today, too. Pretty neat, we're on the same wavelength.

Cool idea! Did you find any good things at the Farmer's Market?

It is in itself a work of art!

It's a great way to promote art.

Great idea. And I'm sure folks in Santa Fe appreciate it!

Re your comment on Ocala DP: I'm thinking seriously of going with a local bank, also.

Having fun this weekend?

quelle jolie camionnette ! si toutes les voitures étaient peintes de cette façon, la rue serait le plus bel espace d'art !
bisous Randy - bon weekend

I like the idea of an art van and that portrait, with the white lips, is great.

What a great idea. We need more of this. Get art out there to the public. Expose more people to art so they really appreciate the grit of it. It all happens at the street level anyway, in my opinion. Artists seem to be on the edge anyway: the cutting edge.

I am not sure if the masses really need art, but this is a really funny way to do it!
