Across the street from yesterdays post are the Lena Street Lofts. The Treehouse Pastry Shop and Cafe are part of this business complex. While on my way there I caught sight of this reflection in the window. I also love the rusted siding on this part of the complex. Wishing you all a marvelous weekend!
The rusted siding looks cool!
ReplyDeleteThose mailboxes, Randy... What does it mean when the red pointer is in the "up" position versus the "down"?
ReplyDeleteAs Neil Young said: Rust never sleeps!
ReplyDeleteThat rusty siding is wonderful, Randy. And it goes so well with the adobe and turquoise in Santa Fe. Ah... a delight for my eyes!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of rust (only in photographs, of course) but I'm somewhat amazed that with Santa Fe's dry climate there is enough moisture to promote rust in your climate. Perhaps someone helped nature along to create a great visual effect.
ReplyDeleteGreat to follow your daily adventures !
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how much more you notice when you take photos. Good spotting with the reflection Randy, great find.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend too!!

Really rusty reflection, Randy!
ReplyDeleteIt's comforting to know that I'm not alone in seeing my world in 2 realities. phew ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday !
Great texture! Have a nice weekend as well Randy.
ReplyDeleteand to you as well!!!
ReplyDeleteRust is the best. How's that pastry shop?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Randy!
I see this kind of siding being used more and more lately. When I was a kid, you would only see this on out buildings and storage facilities.
ReplyDeleteRust is always cool in photographs!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend. ;-)
I love buildings like that, add reflections and it's even better!
ReplyDeleteRusty metal instead of adobe? How did they ever slip that one by the city of Sante Fe? Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI like the lines on this one. I'm seeing more of this rusty metal siding used in new buildings now.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
At first I was looking for a neat reflection in the window...then I saw the hood of the car! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Randy!
Love the reflection and love the siding! Nice catch.
ReplyDelete... And the rusty wall is reflected in the car. Cool!
ReplyDeleteThis is a brilliant shot, though I would have preferred it without the sign. Happy end of the week! :-)
ReplyDeleteRust...I can't get enough of it. It somehow gives me a feeling of eternity. I don't know why that is or where that feeling comes from but it elicits "forever" when I see it and depths that go on and on...
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that I when I blew the photo up to really check it out, I noticed the reflection on the front of the car. That one is incredible...so wavy!
ReplyDeleteNice find! Your catch is always cool.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
Rust in Santa Fe? It doesn't seem like the climate for much rust. In New England, WE got rust.
ReplyDeleteCool rust in NM, we have lots in the midwest.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection and nicely framed too!
