Theme Day: Mailbox


It's Theme Day once again on City Daily Photo. This month's theme is "Mailbox." I thought I would share my favorite trio of boxes. They sit next to my favorite tree which are on the highway between Santa Fe and Taos. Happy Sunday everyone!

    Such an outstanding composition. That beautiful tree, the wonderful sky and the colorful mailboxes, in typical american style, sitting next to the road.

    I really love the composition of this picture. Does it stay that brown all summer long? Or will your tree have more greenness to it at some point? The mailbox colors are wonderful in contrast. And such a sky!

    Mailboxes do not know what here. Colour of post call to stop and cast post. Has abandoned the middle plains. Certainly in the Middle dwelling that. A nice new week wishes Peter.

    Oh my goodness Randy, I posted an almost identical photo a couple of summers ago! (http://csdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2009/06/mailboxes-part-deux.html) Great minds really do think alike! :o) Funny how mailboxes in the American west all seem to look alike.

    Maybe a black and white version could be more dramatic...
