We were supposed to get some much needed rain yesterday. Unfortunately we only got a few sprinkles that just spotted up my windshield. Maybe another day.
i hate those days when you're all set to get a good soaking and then nothing...
texas stole your rain. after lurking all day, around 4:30 it started to rain and kept it up into the night (complete with lightning and thunder). made for a short night's sleep as i had to attempt to keep my oldest dog calm. :)
For you very little about the rain. The landscape is dry. This year at our Spring also quite dry. However, this has changed. Just to turn the water was too much. I like photographing the sky, just do not know whether this type of photos like the others. Regards. Peter.
Love the way you framed this one. I hope I'm wrong but judging from this hot spring I guess we'll have severe draught this summer. It's more than 30ºC these days...
Hey Randy- did you republish? I was trying to do a post last night/ this morning, but as you know blogger was down. My wed post went MIA. Anyhow, Happy Friday!

Sounds like a familiar refrain! By the way, this photo makes me think of and Ed Mell painting.
ReplyDeleteWe need rain, too. If we didn't get a lot of rain, our terrain would look just like the "wild" west!
ReplyDeleteNice clouds, though.
Get thyself to an optometrist soon...remember I've got my eye on you!
The skies were beautiful, though, weren't they? Happy thursday, Randy.
ReplyDeleteRain? What is that? :-)

It seems like we get it when we don't want it and we never get it when we need it. Hope you get it soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you do get some rain. I am afraid that our heavy rains might be all we see for a while.
