Click on the photo for a little better view. Yes the white stuff on the mountain tops is our old friend snow. It was quite the surprise it rain a little and even more so as I left work and saw the snow on the mountain tops. Wishing you all a great weekend full of surprises!
The joy of living near western mountains in snow almost anytime. That's pretty neat. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteSnow is good...in its place, esp. in the month of May!
ReplyDeleteI'd be terrified to snow at this time... :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
Lots of rain in lots of places and I know Colorado is still getting snow. We've got clear skies but warm days, with no rain in sight which isn't good, either, as that increases the danger of forest fires.
ReplyDeleteNice Randy. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletei have to agree with kate's comment. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I am loving this mild Spring!
ReplyDeleteMust be that same weather that dropped rain on Phoenix and snow on Flagstaff on Wednesday. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr..... It was a little chilly yesterday- put on my winter hat & everything! The mountains were shrouded in mist when I set about the day, so it was a happy surprise to see a little dusting on the hills when I left school yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday Randy!!
Your a lucky, if you have the snow near you.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
Yes! Us too, snow on the mountains all around Prescott. I like it.
ReplyDeleteLate Spring and Early fall are fun because you can get that juxtaposition with snow on the mountains and warm temps at lower elevations. it's beautiful
ReplyDeleteThis year certainly has been a different year in terms of weather, don't you think? I remember attending a wedding in Albuquerque on May 5 years ago and the sky was the color of dark coffee. I guess May is never really safe from the elements, especially in the mountains of NM, right?
ReplyDeleteI thinks it's beautiful to see, but I do prefer warm termperatures!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend! ;-)
Yuck! It is finally sunny and warm here with no rain for a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteMy only surprise in this weekend would be coming home and then... at work again!
ReplyDeleteI see that you still winter in the mountains. I do not want to see, I'm glad we finally have heat in summer temperature. Hi, Peter.
ReplyDeleteDid I think it was candy floss?!
ReplyDeleteLovely view, I'm jealous! :-) Have a wonderful weekend!
Snow capped peaks... a beauty anytime of year.
ReplyDeleteone of the weirdest springs we've ever had... that's for certain!
ReplyDeleteMy friend from Flagstaff called yesterday to say they had snow the past two days. As I recall, Flag and Santa Fe have similar elevations and climates.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid we're heading into the warm stuff, but I'm glad you're still getting to enjoy surprises like this. :)
