This statue is outside of the Patricia Carlisle Fine Art gallery on Canyon Road. They always have such beautiful flowers in the front yard and so far the blooms have been lovely. Happy Friday everyone!
It seems as though you have a plethora of artsy places in Santa Fe. I think if I were an artist I would have to move there.
I can't help wonder how this statue came to be - if it represents a real person or a myth of some kind. I like it, though. And the flowers add a special touch!
Too sweet! Love those little pansies. I guess I'm a little surprised by the walking boot not being bright pink covered in flowers too...they didn't offer me one like that. :) Have a great weekend!
A very good image! A quite strange statue with a purpose...
ReplyDeleteA very sweet picture. Those blue flowers with the birds are lovely... time to get planting, I see!
ReplyDeleteI bought some seeds this week, and am looking forward to having flowers again. A great weekend to you, Randy!
Those flowers really set off that statue. Happy Friday

ReplyDeleteThe flowers are a nice contrast to the statue, something fresh.

This statue reminds me of Midsummer Night's Dream!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Friday too! ;-)
she needs to eat more so she can put some meat on those bones! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool. Happy Friday to you, too Randy!
ReplyDeleteI like it! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh I would love to have that statue in my yard. I'd fill it with water so the birds could bathe in it.
ReplyDeleteNice and interesting. I know this is something. A relaxed weekend wishes Peter.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, but in an almost chilling way. It certainly sets a certain mood. Great photo.

At first glance I thought this was a street performer dressed as a statue! Very intricate and life-like!
ReplyDeleteI love this - it would be such fun to have this in the yard and change the display with the seasons!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so sad!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great planter! I love it.
