    Interesting shot. I first thought the blue in the upper right was sky and I kept wanting to turn my head to look at it from a different perspective! Then I read your post narrative. Aha!

    Randy, what a beautiful photo of winter's special look. The long shadows give a soft feel to the cold and one knows that there are blue skies above (although unseen)

    I love the laceiness (is that a word?) of the plant. I like it against the snow as well as its shadow on the snow. This is a great shot on so many levels. Well done, Randy.
