How Mondays Can Feel.

On the way down the mountain I came across this poor tree. Who knows what knocked it down but when I saw the barbed wire lying on top of it the first thing that came to mind was "this is how Mondays can feel sometimes." Lets hope that is not the case today. Have a good week everyone.

  1. I had forgotten it was Monday until I read your post! Thanks for reminding me. I seem to work every day! Two days off? How do you get a job like that?

  8. Yeah, I used to feel like that on Mondays - down and strung out!

Not anymore, though. I'm retired. Now I feel like that every day! Well, every day that I don't play golf! :-)

  12. Yes, well I worked almost the whole weekend and now that is just about how I feel. Not to worry... it is temporary for this optimist!

  14. To all of you who dread Mondays there is hope. When you are retired you'll come to relish them along with the remaining weekdays. It is the weekends you will no long enjoy as much for everyone is out and in your way. So you hang around home and wait for Monday to return. Hang in there.

  15. Well, it's true the tree is down, but so is the fence. Maybe they're both just resting. :)
    Happy Monday!

  17. Do you know the French cartoon Astérix? Okay, Astérix, a Gaul desperately fighting for independence from Rome has a little dog called Idéfix. Idéfix can't bear the sight of fallen trees.
I'm like him. So this, with barbed wire to make it even worse, is a horrible sight for me. Just like my Monday was, lol! :-)Surely that means Tuesday can't be worse, right?!

Mondays are always hard. It's not natural this Monday to Friday rhythm.
