Cold Turning You Blue?

Cheer up, Spring is almost here. Soon this bench will have people sitting on it enjoying warmer weather but not now. If you do you could end up with wet pants.

  1. A nice lovely catch!
It must be so great to be surrounded with all these pretty colors all the time..
It surprises me though that there is a chain and lock..to keep it there..
Wishing you a wonderful thursday Randy :)

  5. I think that Santa Fe has cornered the market on this intense shade of blue... It is beautiful against the whiteness of the snow...

  8. Great to see the matching door and bench. Maxed the photo to see the very nice carving and noted the chain and lock...too bad that's necessary these days. If you're really "into benches" you need to see VJ's blog, "A Bunch of Benches" at http://abunchofbenches.blogspot.com/

  11. Ahhhh...color! Is that really color? (I fell like my eyes don't work in color anymore- all I see is white...)

    Beautiful bench.

  12. Such wonderful contrast. Now I will always think of this shade of blue as Santa Fe Blue. :)
I'm breathing and relaxing. Thanks for your kind words.

  16. Fabulous colors! Snow looks a bit foreign, though. I did play golf yesterday. Probably shouldn't tell you this but it was in the low 80s.

    Spring will soon be here.

  26. Very nice, Randy! Why is that bench chained? Could the winter take it away? :)

  27. And nobody wants wet pants - I just hate that!

Love the blue and adobe mix!

  29. With that kind of color around there, it must inspire cheerful moods/days! I hope to get there some day and see it all for myself in person. I especially want to check out adobe buildings, not something you see around here.

  30. A beautiful hue of blue, made all the handsomer by the clean line of the snow. A Blue Ribbon photo!

  31. For those who have asked, the bench is chained up to keep it from being stolen. There are benches here that cost quite a bit especially if the carver comes from a long line of family carvers.
