During the summer months our flea market known as The Flea is an outdoor market. In the winter months you will find it indoors at one of the railyard buildings. You sure can't miss this sign if you were looking for the market.
The flea market indoors is really eclectic. Years ago I used to stay in Taos for part of a summer and helped my artist friend sell her work at the outdoor flea market near the Opera House. If I dig up some old photos, I'll scan them and send them to you!!
Love signs that tell you exactly what you need to know!
ReplyDeleteAnd if they're big and bright...all the better:))
Would love to visit The Flea.
Randy,
ReplyDeleteThe Flea market looks cool in the winter with all those snows like that...
I love flea markets! We have a "brocante" here in town where I buy pewter for pennies...and it always makes my table so homey and cozy!
ReplyDeletec'est mieux en hiver , le marche a l'interieur ;) belle enseigne
ReplyDeleteA peculiar sign, it may be misinterpreted...
ReplyDeleteEstupenda la foto...
ReplyDeleteSaludos y un abrazo.
I love flea markets!
ReplyDeleteI got most of my books there. ;)
Dogs beware!
ReplyDeleteNice photo with the lines of snow, but that sign is quite catchy... one is used to seeing "flea market" but The Flea is just perfect!

ReplyDeleteHave a nice day Randy!

ReplyDeleteI bet it's a really cool market, too. (No Dogs Allowed?)
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Love your composition here. BTW, yes, it was really cold at the beach but nice.
ReplyDeleteI bet there are some interesting finds at The Flea!
ReplyDeleteCool. A railyard seems like such a perfect location for a flea market. The snow on the tracks looks great too.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors!
ReplyDeleteSo funny the snow we had is all gone..
Nice capture! Nothing like a good flea (unless you're a dog).
ReplyDeleteThey're bold! Summer or winter, the market is there!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
I used to think they sold fleas at flea markets!
ReplyDeleteI like flea markets sometimes if they include stuff other than new junk made in China! Do you go to this one?
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cool sign and great composition with wonderful contrasting colours.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever found any treasures there?
ReplyDeleteGreat sign.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the colors in this shot! I haven't been to a flea market in quite some time. This makes me want to go. =)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great sign. Gave me a bit of a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteNice shot with the yellow and lines!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've been to the Flea Mkt in Tesuque, but I did not know they had one here! I learned something new today and will have to check it out!
