El Nicho


El Nicho is a wonderful little shop in the downtown area. It's full of work by local artisans. The first things that attracted me to this place was the color of these old doors. Happy Saturday everyone!

    Love those colors! You see a lot of that of course in South America. I tend to think if we all painted our doors bright colors we'd be a lot happier. Just a theory.

    Again a wonderful shot.
    Blue doors are great, so wellcoming. We had a blue garden gate in our old place, it was the only one here. It's not popular in Germany.

    "Nicho" en español significa el hueco donde se guarda el ataúd , pero en este caso está más relacionado con el hueco para guardar un objeto decorativo. Muy curioso.

    Lovely place. The name means something like 'alcove', which in Italian is almost the same: 'nicchia'.

    That is a great entrance way. The colors are great and so is the architecture. Looks VERY Southwestern.

    You have to love a business that puts the spotlight on local artisans too.
