In mid-October there was an event on Canyon Road to support music in our schools. Some of the galleries had school chorus performers and there were artists working on paintings all along Canyon Road. I will be bringing some of the photos from this fun filled day through out the week. I hope you will enjoy them.
Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Sunday.

Esperando al cartero. Estupenda la foto, como siempre.

Love the turquoise mailbox and flowers. Yes! Nice to see flowers in Dec.
ReplyDeleteTurquoise is my favorite colour, and the two colours in your photo are terrific together. Will wait impatiently for the promised pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat cause, Randy. With economic challenges, the arts progams in many schools have suffered...
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in your photo!

I LOVE the color here... again. Your part of the world is so filled with beautiful hues. It reminds me sometimes of France and their expertise in weilding color. It warms my heart.
ReplyDeleteTurquoise was such a popular color this year. Love this old mailbox.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Looking forward to seeing them.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNice project to support.
A very good Sunday for you!
This is a pretty place to get your mail! I look forward to the pictures this week.
ReplyDeleteA nice splash of colors!

ReplyDeleteI wish you a great week ahead,
hugs

It will be fun to see you upcoming photos! I love this one. The is something special about rural mailboxes that show a little wear and tear.
ReplyDeleteAs a former teacher, I think this is wonderful. In many areas, funding for music and the arts is being cut dramatically. And the emphasis on testing has the same effect. A principal once told me that middle schools would be dropping all courses but math and reading...she was wrong, thank goodness, but still...
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm all for promoting music and arts in the schools...these are just as important as the three "R's"!
Love the colours and the old mailbox. it is very grey and rainy here today so nice to see colour!
ReplyDeleteCuantas cartas no llegarán hoy...
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo enorme
Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of this letterbox!
ReplyDeleteReminded me of blue sea.

ReplyDeleteSummer pleasure.

ReplyDeleteGreat colours!
ReplyDeleteYes that's a very happy blue. Sky blue. A grumpy person couldn't possibly live there.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so right for New Mexico.
ReplyDeleteJust look at that dahlia! Love the pink and tuquoise combo!
ReplyDeletethis is such a great, artistic shot!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, this photo just said "American" to me. It's a sweet image.
