It would be very enjoyable to walk along that route and be able to stop and watch the various painters work. Gotta give 'em credit for doing that out in the open where, I'm sure, critics abound.
Brilliant colours are so Southwest, don't you think. My eyes are drawn to the rug beneath his feet...hope it's not Navajo or another kind of priceless rug!
I've started to post again; that is, if I can figure out how to do it again on my new iMac!
un effet un beau bleu pour son ciel, ici il faudrait utiliser du gris ;(
ReplyDeleteColor, color, color! As usual! Very nice picture of an artist; You are something of an artist yourself, Randy. Thank you for such uplifting pictures.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like an interesting stroll with a camera at hand...
ReplyDeleteThat painting is entirely sky. The image of the sky always in my eyes can make mee feel a bird.

Nice shot! You're right, the colours are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have this kind of artistic talent...
Such rich colors in his painting.
ReplyDeleteAnd look at the rug he brought along! It's Santa Fe, all right. Love that painting. Any idea of the artist's name?

ReplyDeleteI like all the varied blues, too!
Nice painting Randy. What a nice walk that must have been.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a big sky it is! I love the rugs he uses under everything too. I could use a couple of those. (not to catch paint drips though)
ReplyDeleteI would like to walk there ! I love
ReplyDeletewatching the painters ! Very
nice shot Randy
Beautiful colors! It must have been fun to watch him paint.
ReplyDeleteAnother great shot. Beautiful colors in this one. Looks like you had fun.
ReplyDeleteMakes me wish I could paint. As it is, I enjoy looking at this painting.
ReplyDeleteI am also drawn to the rugs he is using as drop clothes! Great shot - love the blues.

Looks like a sea to me. ;)
ReplyDeleteEither one is terrific!
A beautiful blue. Though the painting doesn't appear to bear much relation to the scene he's looking at..

I like that he brought along a couple of rugs. A gentleman shouldn't be required to paint in deprivation.
ReplyDeleteWhy not. Now we have something to look at during the dreary winter months.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky find - to see an artist painting outside!
ReplyDeleteThe matching shirt makes the shot even more interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very striking blue. Nice how you captured him and his painting. There must be loads of artists there.
