I almost forgot about this photo. The New Mexico Museum of Art had a fun exhibit call Sole Mates. It was a show of Cowboy Boots in different mediums from actual boots to boots included in paintings, and photographs. It was fun to see some of the outrageous designs on some of the boots.
The picture is really nice and I would be curious about the exhibition itself: it's one of the strangest subjects I have ever heard of!

I'd love to see some of the exhibits. Some cowboy boots are works of art and it's nice they recognised that.

ReplyDeleteI wore cowboy boots on occasion when I lived in Arizona and Texas. Loved 'em. Too hot for Florida most of the time, though...although we have lots of cowboys/cowgirls and boots!
