Squash has made an appearance at the Farmers Market this weekend. One farmer brought a trailer full and the variety made for a nice photo. Does anyone know what the large pale green one is?
Wonderful colour and tone in those vegies. I like the way they're grouped. Re the large squash, it looks like Hubbard Squash which comes in two varieties - grey and green.
There seems to be as many varieties of squash these days as there are starts in the sky...which is a good thing! I hope that you bought some to enjoy this week. Have you ever had spagetti squash? Weird, but my son used to love it when he was younger.
un beau patchwork de couleur automnale.
ReplyDeleteFine set of textures and colors, I'm not sure but seem like a variety of pumkins!
ReplyDeletePerfect autumn picture... I love Santa Fe!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have such a picturesque and colorful variety here! The pale green one looks a bit out of place...
