This photo is from the Taos Pueblo Pow Wow last month but I want to use it to announce the beginning of Indian Market weekend. It is my favorite market of the year. Native Americans from all over the country will be here showing their art in downtown Santa Fe. It is a big tourist weekend for us. Buyers will converge on Santa Fe searching for beautiful art work to add to their collections. Have a wonderful weekend everyone I know I will.
You must obtain special permission and pay a fee to use your camera on pueblo grounds so I must add this at the end of my photographs.

Great colors as always... They are probably right asking for some compensation, this dress is wonderful and I imagine this is the 'real' thing.

Hi Randy, thanks for visiting my blog. I visited Santa Fe 20 years ago and found it to be a fascinating place.
ReplyDeleteIn Barcelona downtown you can find stores with american indians products. They use a lot of colours: happy clothes always.
